Ceesha E. Wilson-Lofton: What's New?

On Sunday, February 11, 2007, I was inducted into the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society (Bethel College Chapter). Qualifications for induction include a grade point average that falls within the top 10% of overall college student enrolled and completion of service work within the community. There were 25 2007 inductees. This is an exciting time in academic life and proves that all things are possible when God is being glorified. This will open new doors for networking and resources for the furtherance of God's ministry. To God be the glory for the things HE has done!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Ralph T. Lofton, Jr. for his Stellar nomination for Instrumental CD of the Year for the Quiet Times Players' Sunday Morning Jam Part II. Although the award went to Ramsey Lewis, it was still an honor to be on the ballad.

I had the opportunity to preach for the first time in my hometown on Christmas Eve. It was a marvelous yet scary experience. The Original Church of God (Pastor Allgood) and their congregation welcomed me with open arms. The Message.....Accepting the Will of God - Luke 1:26-38. The move of God was awesome!! Special thanks to Pastor Allgood for the invitation.

The Video is complete. We just received the final product last week and we are very excited. It is our first video and God has blessed us to bring it forth with lots of hard work and minimal resources (little becomes much when you don't make excuses, use what you have, and place in God's hands!) If God says the same, it is scheduled to air on BET Gospel Videos in the Fall. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

Last weekend, we began shooting the new video for the song, "I Tell You Yes" from the same titled intrumental album featuring The Organ Mystro, Ralph T. Lofton, Jr. It was an awesome experience for us to actually put visual effect to the song that we co-wrote 2 years ago. Joseph Washington of Duration Music, along with his talented production crew, are working hard to capture the essence of worship that the song was written to portray. This project is coming along beautifully and will bring added enjoyment to anyone who has already been blessed by the music from the CD. Keep a watch for it on your favorite video programs.
